2009 D1GP USA Round 1: Anaheim, CA

With the D1GP cars and drivers from Japan, against the backdrop of Angels Stadium, the stage was set for a drift event like no other. However, the real treat was watching the 2008 D1GP Champion, Daigo Saito, take the top podium spot.

2009 Formula Drift Round 1: Long Beach, CA

It was an exiciting finish to the start of the 2009 season with Ryan Tuerck taking the First Place spot, followed by Sam Hubinette and Tanner Foust in his new V8 powered Scion tC. We were on hand to capture the fresh drifting action.

Back for 2009, the Hankook Tire/Dynamic Autosports 350Z Z33 piloted by Robbie Nishida has undergone a minor facelift and fresh rebuild. Robbie’s lead foot combined with the Brian Crower stroked Nissan VQ and the sticky Hankook Tires equals massive amounts of tire smoke.
